Achievements:

1. 29 April 1986: Professor in agriculture at UPM.
2. 1 October 2006: Department of Development and Student Affairs Director, Higher Education Department, Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia.
3. 16 May 2010: Return to UPM as Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni) at UPM.
4. 1 January 2013: Seventh Vice Chancellor of UPM

 

Contribution:

1. Prepare a soft skills module to be used as the main module to provide soft skills development among IPT students that still in used till today.

2. Commander of Kor Sukarelawan Polis Siswa Siswi (SUKSIS) UPM. In fact, he is one of the person that responsible in the existence of SUKSIS.

3. Introduce Key Performance Indicator (KPI) that state the achievement of university officers for student development.

4. Empowering zakat institution by working together with Majlis Agama Negeri Selangor and Lembaga Zakat Selangor with UPM to help students.
